Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury has given a verbal order to all government staff and officials of the land offices to submit their wealth statements to the ministry by February 28.

The minister came up with the order while talking to journalists at a programme at the Chattogram Press Club on Saturday.

“All staff and officials of land offices from union parishad to the Land Ministry must have to submit their wealth statements by this timeframe,” he said adding that a gazette notification in this regard will be issued immediately.

All the land offices will be brought under the CCTV coverage to ensure transparency while voice recorders will also be installed, added the minister.
