8 of a family burnt dead in Joypurhat fire

Eight members of a family were burnt to death in a fire originated from an electric short circuit at a house in Aramnagar area of Joypurhat last night.   

The deceased were identified as Abdul Momin, his mother Momena Begum, father Dulal Hossain, wife Porina Begum, elder daughter Bristy, twin daughters Hashi and Khusi and younger son Taimul Islam Noor. 

Sirajul Islam, inspector of Joypurhat fire station, said the fire originated from an electric short circuit at the house around 9:00pm and spaded shortly, injuring the eight members of the family.  

The injured were taken to Joypurhat Adhunik Hospital where doctors declared three of them dead, he said adding that four of them died on the way to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College in Bogura while another died on way to Dhaka.
