BNP looking for way to avoid polls: Quader

The BNP is looking for a way to keep away from the general elections fearing defeat, claimed Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader.    

"Conspiracy of terrorism and sabotage are being made staying at home and abroad," he said at a press briefing at Saidpur Airport on Sunday after concluding train trip.  

Quader, also the minister for Road Transport and Bridges, addressed 17 rallies on the way from Dhaka to Nilphamari. At the rallies he sought vote for 'Boat”, the election symbol of Awami League.

Minister of Cultural Affairs Asaduzzaman Noor, AL Joint General Secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud, Organising Secretary Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, among others, were present at the press briefing.
