Budget for FY2023-24 to be passed on June 26

The government will pass the budget for the 2023-24 fiscal in parliament on June 26.

And June 25 has been fixed to pass the Finance Bill.

Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of parliament took the decision in a meeting with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair held at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Wednesday.

The national budget will be tabled in parliament at 3:00pm on Thursday.

The 23rd session of the current parliament will continue till June 26 and the session will start at 5:00pm on each working day. 

The session of the parliament will begin again on July 2 after a short brief for Eid-ul-Azha.
