The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam results will be
declared within 60 days after the end of the exams, Education Minister Dr Dipu
Moni has said.
She made the remark after visiting the HSC examinees at the
Tejgaon College on Thursday.
"HSC examination of 11 boards was scheduled to start
simultaneously from August 17, but due to natural disaster, the HSC examination
of Chattogram, Madrasa and Technical boards will start on August 27," the
minister also said.
Despite starting 10 days late, the results of these three
boards will also be declared with the other boards, she hoped.
HSC and equivalent examinations of 2023 under eight
education boards of the country on Thursday. A total of 13,59,342 students will
sit for the HSC and equivalent exams. Among them, 6,88,887 are boys and
6,70,455 are girls.
