The Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) of police arrested three
members, including the leader, of a new militant outfit named 'Taohidul
Uluhiyah (Al-Jihadi).'
They were hatching a plan to carry out nationwide terrorist
attacks, DIG (Ops) of the ATU Abdul Alim said at a press conference at the ATU
headquarters in the capital on Saturday afternoon.
The detainees are - the outfit's chief Md Juwel Mollah, 29,
members Md Rahul Hossain, 21, and Md Gaziul Islam, 40.
ATU members carried out several drives in the country from
September 13 to 16 to capture the three militants, DIG Abdul Alim said.
