17 die from dengue in a day

As many as 17 dengue patients have died in the country during the last 24 hours till 8 am on Sunday.

A total of 3,084 were admitted to different hospitals at the same time, a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.

This year, 839 deaths were reported from dengue disease while 281 died last year, it said.
