Feni University’s first convocation Saturday

The first convocation of Feni University will be held on Saturday at the university’s playground, said a press release.

The university will honour twenty students from three faculties with gold medals for their outstanding academic results.

Deputy Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury will preside over the convocation programme on behalf of the university's chancellor Mohammed Shahabuddin, President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh

Bangladesh University of Science and Technology Vice-Chancellor Prof Satya Prasad Majumder will be the convocation speaker.

The welcome speech will be delivered by Feni University Vice-Chancellor Prof M Jamaluddin Ahmed.

Alauddin Ahmed Chowdhury, President of the Board of Trustees at Feni University, will also speak on the occasion, among others.
