Railway minister admits e-ticket mismanagement

Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan on Wednesday acknowledged the glitch in sale of advance train tickets through app.

The minister visited Kamalapur Railway Station around 10:30am to see the ticket selling activities. Then, he acknowledged the e-ticket mismanagement.

"The unsold tickets will be on sale at counters after five days from today," said the minister.  

It is the fault of the railway ministry authorities as well as CNS, the company which supports the app, as we can't avoid the failure of CNS, the minister said after showing regret.

There is an agreement with CNS since 2007 and the agreement won't be renewed after expiring it, he claimed.
