Cyclone Bulbul: Several flights suspended

Flights have been canceled on some domestic routes on Saturday as the severe cyclone 'Bulbul' is approaching to the mainland of Bangladesh.

Out of the canceled flights, there are two flights from Dhaka to Chittagong and one from Dhaka to Jessore.

Besides, the authorities have decided to suspend flight operations at Chittagong's Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport from 4 pm on Saturday, Airport Manager Wing Commander Sarwar-e-Alam told the reporters .

According to the sources, the flights BG415 and BG416 of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Dhaka-Chittagong route were canceled. 

Meanwhile, a flight of Novoair scheduled to leave Dhaka for Jessore at 6 pm was also canceled. 

Meanwhile, flights from Dhaka to Barisal and Dhaka to Cox's Bazar will also be kept suspended from Saturday afternoon.
