Abrar murder's flawless chargesheet in a week: Monirul

The flawless chargesheet in the sensational BUET student Abrar Fahad murder case will be filed within a week, said Monirul Islam, Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).


Monirul, also the chief of DMP’s Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit, was addressing UCB Public- Parliament Debate Competition titled “Abrar murder not result of student politics but depreciation of moral values” .

A flawless chargesheet will be filled to ensure maximum punishment for the killers in the case, said the police officer.

Police will bring all the people involved in the gruesome murder directly or indirectly to the justice, he said.

Debate for Democracy organized the event at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) on Friday morning with its chairman Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiron in the chair.

Government Bangla College won the debate competition by defeating Tejgaon College.
