Woman donates ambulance to PSTC

Asfia Duza donates an ambulance to PSTC for women and children healthcare. PSTC Chairman Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, Executive Director Dr. Noor Mohammad and others were present on the occasion.

A woman has donated an ambulance to Population Services and Training Centre at Niketan in the capital in a bid to accelerate health services for women and children.

Asfia Duza handed over the ambulance to the PSTC’s chairperson Mosleh Uddin Ahmed in memory of her mother Korpurnesa, said a press release.

Dr MB Duza was present as the guest of honour at the handover ceremony on December 5. Among others, executive director of PSTC physician Noor Mohammad, head of programmes Mahbubul Alam and other officials were also present on the occasion.

Mosleh Uddin Ahmed said, "We were feeling the importance of an ambulance for PSTC for a long time. This ambulance will accelerate our pace of health services." 

Asfia Duza said, "I am really happy donating the ambulance for PSTC. I hope it will be helpful to serve the patients during a crucial time."
