BCS 40th written test begins Jan 4

The written test for 40th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will be held from January 4 to January 8, said a notice issued by Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Tuesday.

Details including seat plan and other directives will be informed through media and the commission’s website www.bpsc.gov.bd later, it said.

Written test for mandatory subjects will be held between January 4 and 8.

The preliminary test of the 40th BCS was held on May 3 this year where a total of 3,27,000 candidates vied for. the preliminary test.

Later, 20,277 examinees were selected for written test. A total of 4,12,532 candidates applied for the 40th BCS.
