Petrol pumps strike postponed

An indefinite strike at all petrol pumps in Rajshahi, Rangpur and Khulna divisions has been postponed till December 15.

The strike withdrawal decision came after the petrol pump owners negotiated with the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) in the capital on Monday.

Petrol pump owners and workers continued their strike for the second consecutive day on Monday in the three divisions to press home their 15-point demand, causing serious trouble to the transport owners and passengers.
