3 schoolboys killed in train accident

Three schoolboys died after a train hit their motorbike while crossing an unmanned level crossing in Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Yeasin Sharif, 16, son of Farid Sharif, an SSC examinee of Joynagar High School, Md Raihan Ruhin, 15, son of Md Ashraf Ali Mia, and Al Amin Khandaker, 15, son of Md Labu Khandaker. 

Kashiani Police Station SI Ratan Vairagi said four friends came to school in the morning to watch the annual sports competition. At the end of the sports events, they rode from the school to Baspur on a motorcycle. While crossing the Bishwanathpur railway crossing, the Rajbari-bound local train hit the motorbike, leaving three people dead on the spot and another was injured.

SI Aminur Rahman said injured Md Sohan was sent to Faridpur in critical condition.
