One minister, two state ministers get new portfolios

The government reallocated the portfolios of one minister and two state ministers aiming to bring further dynamism in the administration, said a notification of the Cabinet Division today.

It said Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul Karim was shifted to the Fisheries and Livestock Ministry, while State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Md Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru replaced State Minister for Social Welfare Sharif Ahmed who was moved to the Housing and Public Works Ministry, reports BSS.

The notification said the government redistributed their portfolios as per the rule 3 (4) of the Bangladesh Prime Minister’s Rules of Business-1996.
