‘Full lockdown’ begins with police checkposts on streets
A "total lockdown" announced by the government to prevent coronavirus infections has been in effect since Wednesday morning.
In the morning, during visiting different areas of the capital Dhaka city, it is seen that the police are working in different places to implement this lockdown.
Police have set up checkposts on various important roads in the city to control the movement of people.
At these checkposts, vehicles are stopped and passengers are being asked for their identities and reasons for leaving out of the home.
People in professions involved in emergency services are being let to move but the others were sent back to home. In addition, many roads have been barricaded for all.
