No legal chance for India to get out of vaccine deal: Planning Minister
Planning Minister MA Mannan said India did not have a legal chance to come out from the vaccine deal inked with the Serum Institute of the country.
The minister made the remarks in a briefing from the minister's office online after the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC).
"India is our neighbour. We know what a deadly Corona infection is going on there,” he said while responding to queries of the reporters.
The government is not sitting idly, he said, adding that work is underway to collect vaccines from alternative channels.
However, he added that the ECNEC meeting did not discuss the corona vaccine issue.
