Father, daughter found slaughtered in Chittagong

Police have recovered the slaughtered bodies of a father and his daughter from a house in Nimtala area in Chittagong city on Saturday morning.

The dead were identified as Md Arif, 32, and his four-year-old daughter, Bibi Fatema, said Bandar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sukanta Chakraborty.

The bodies of father and his daughter were recovered from the ground floor of a three-storied building in the area around 11 am after receiving information from locals, he said.

The OC said the body of father was found lying on the floor while daughter's body was seen on the bed. 

Police are investigating into the incident.
