A committee formed by the district administration has submitted an investigation report on the incident of police-mob clashes in Bhola's Borhanuddin Upazila to Bhola Deputy Commissioner Masud Alam Siddique on Saturday morning.

However, the details of the report were not made public.

Last Sunday, a large number of locals under the banner of 'Tawhidi Janata' clashed with the police while they were demanding the trial of a youth of a religious minority community in Borhanuddin over a derogatory comment on Facebook post.

Four people, including a teenager, were killed in police firing. Moreover, hundreds of people, including ten policemen, were injured in the sporadic clashes between locals and the police.

Meanwhile, the situation of Borhanuddin has slowly started to normalize. However, police are still continuing patrolling in the municipal area.
