Police have recovered the body of a woman, Rosy Akhter, 20, from a house located at Jhautala Diesel Colony in Khulshi area of Chittagong city.

Deceased's husband Rezaul Karim could not be found, said police.

The body was recovered after receiving news from locals this morning, said Officer-in-charge of Khulshi Police Station Pranab Chowdhury.

The couple, who worked as a guard at Port City University, had been renting a house in Diesel Colony since March last year.

The woman is believed to have been stabbed to death following a head injury.

The OC added that the murder could have been triggered by a familial feud.

"We are looking for the deceased's husband. Once he is found, the details in this regard might be known," he went on saying.
