Sraddha of teacher, litterateur Sudhanshu Nath Mondal held

Sraddha of teacher and litterateur Sudhanshu Nath Mondal was held in Sundarganj Upazila of Gaibandha on Sunday.
The Sraddha function was arranged at the house of Sudhanshu Nath at Nizam Khan village in Tarapur Union in the upazila.
Sudhanshu Nath Mandal is the father of Gautam B Mondal, The Daily Samakal Online News Editor.
Among others who joined Sraddha function include Poet, litterateur and retired headmaster Abdus Samad Mia, Mohila Degree College Vice-Principal Nasrin Sultana, Dahaband UP Chairman Golam Kabir Mukul, Freedom Fighter Sirajul Islam, Headmaster Shahjahan Mia, Ajit Kumar Roy, Journalist Rezaul Islam, MA Masud, Sundarganj Press Club General Secretary A Mannan Akand, former headmaster Ansar Ali Sardar, Moslim Ali, Biren Sarkar Mintu, Communist Party Upazila president Nurey Alam Manik, Krisak leader Sadequl Islam Dulal, Lecturer Abdul Aziz, Suprakash Sahitya Sangsad President Biswajit Chandra Barman, its general secretary Poet Konkan Sarkar.
Sudhanshu Nath Mondal's wife Tapati Rani Mondal, sons - Swapan Kumar Mondal, Gautam B Mondal; daughters - Sabuj Rani, Lipi Rani and Eti Rani welcomed the guests.
Sudhanshu Nath Mondal died on the night of 21st November due to old age complications at his house in Nizam Khan village of Tarapur Union of Sundarganj Upazila of Gaibandha.
He was a former headmaster of Ghagoa High School located in Sundarganj Upazila in the district.
Sudhanshu Nath Mondal used to practise write-ups on different issues and literature. He retired from his teaching profession in 2002.
