Primary, Ebtedayee Exams begin Nov 17

Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee Examinations will begin on November 17 at 7,458 centres across the country.

The exams are scheduled to end on November 24.

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Ministry Md Zakir Hossain made the announcement at a press conference at his ministry office on Thursday afternoon.

The total number of examinees for Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee Examinations is 2,903,638.

A total of 25,53,267 students will sit for the Primary terminal examinations this year. Of them, 11, 81,300 are boys and 13,71,967 girls.

He said a total of 3,50, 371 students – 1,87,082 boys and 1,66,281 girls – will attend the Ebtedayee terminal examinations.

Besides, 615 students will sit for the examinations from eight countries at 12 exam centres.
