Best film awards go to Shakib-Shovo-Tisha, Ferdous-Saimon-Joya

The National Film Awards for the years of 2017 and 2018 have been announced on Thursday. 

According to a government gazette notification, Joya Ahsan was judged as best actress for her outstanding performance in the film Debi in 2018, while Nusrat Imroze Tisha won the best actress award for the film Halda in 2017.

The jury board picked up Shakib Khan as best actor for his excellent performance in the film Sotta in 2017 and Arefin Shovo for his acting in the film Dhaka Attack.

In 2018, Ferdous Ahmed has been selected as best actor for his film Putra and Saimon Sadik for his acting role in Jannat.

The government selected artistes, technicians for the awards in 28 categories in 2018.
