Rain likely to continue today

Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted that the rain may occur at many parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am on Saturday as the low over coastal Odisha and adjoining area now lies over North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh.

According to the weather forecast, rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Sylhet & Mymensingh divisions; at a few places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal & Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur & Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over northeastern part of the country.

The bulletin added that day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. The country has been witnessing rainfall since Wednesday.
