Youth shot dead by BSF in Jhenidah

A Bangladeshi youth was shot dead by Border Security Force of India in Moheshpur upazila of Jhenaidah.

The incident took place at Shilgate early Friday. 

The deceased, Sumon, 25, was son of Abdul Mannan of Shyamkur village of the upazila. 

Lt Col Kamrul Ahsan, director, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Jhenidah-58, confirmed the incident to media.

The body is now custody of Pakhiura BSF, he added.
