Hasina-led govt built a relationship of trust with India: Quader
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has built a relationship of trust in against of hostility with the neighboring country applying diplomatic skills.
He said the two countries are helping each other to take forward the mutual development of Bangladesh and India.
Following this, several important projects are being implemented jointly under the Indian Credit Programme.
He was speaking at a meeting to review projects and progress under the Indian Credit Programme on Sunday morning.
Obaidul Quader joined the meeting via video conference from his official residence in the city.
The outgoing Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das, Secretary of the Roads and Highways Department Md Nazrul Islam were present on the online platform, among other concerned officials.
Meanwhile, Obaidul Quader greeted Sheikh Rehana, the youngest daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, on her 65th birthday.
At that time, he said, Sheikh Rehana was by the side of Awami League leaders and workers from behind the scenes in the bad times and crises after '75.
On Sheikh Rehana's 65th birthday, Quader wished her long life and good health.
