Khaleda taken to hospital for CT scan
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who recently tested positive for Covid-19, has been taken to Evercare Hospital in the city to get a CT scan.
FM Siddiqi, head of her personal medical team, told The Daily Samakal that the BNP chief was taken to hospital at 9:40pm.
The whereabouts of Khaleda Zia's treatment depend on the CT scan report, he said.
Khaleda underwent the Covid test on Saturday last as eight other people at her residence were infected with the virus and her report came out to be positive.
Amid the coronavirus outbreak, the government freed Khaleda Zia from jail for six months through an executive order suspending her sentences on March 25 last year.
