Anti-liberation forces want to turn Bangladesh into failed state: Quader
Those who do not believe in the spirit of Liberation War and the independence want to turn Bangladesh into a failed state, said Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said.
He made the comments at a regular press briefing at his official residence in the city on Saturday.
If BNP is given the guarantee of victory in polls, then Election Commission will be natural, according to them, he said, adding, if court verdict goes in favor of BNP, then judiciary will be independent to them.
BNP is crazy for state power, the AL general secretary said.
He added that BNP leaders have resorted to the path of conspiracy and falsehood for their lust to regain state power.
Any of their conspiracy will not be successful, as their character has been exposed to the nation, he said,
The minister said Bangladesh received final recommendation on its graduation from the status of Least Developed Country (LDC) to developing one under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Bangladesh is now a country of huge potentials at the world stage, he added.
