India have beat Bangladesh by eight wickets at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on Thursday.

India won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Bangladesh scored 153 runs losing six wicket in 20 overs.

The match began on time avoiding a fear that it might be affected by weather as Cyclone Maha was looming large over the Gujarat coast.

Bangladesh lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning the opening game in Delhi on Sunday.

Hoping to avenge the loss in New Delhi, the Rohit Sharma-led side will be hoping to level the series at Rajkot after a disappointing loss in the series opener.

SQUADS:

Bangladesh: Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Naim, Mahmudullah (c), Afif Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain, Aminul Islam, Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Arafat Sunny, Al-Amin Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Shaiful Islam, Abu Haider Rony, Mohammad Mithun, Taijul Islam

India: Rohit Sharma (c), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant (wk), Washington Sundar, Krunal Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Rahul Chahar, Deepak Chahar, Khaleel Ahmed, Shivam Dube, Shardul Thakur

According to accuweather.com, there will be intermittent clouds over Rajkot from 2 pm to 5 pm, but there is no chance of rain.

The weather will be partly sunny at around 6 pm but some clouds are expected to come in as we inch closer to the start of the match at 7 pm. It is unlikely that the toss will get affected. NO RAIN is expected after the match starts either.

There were fears that Cyclone Maha could play spoilsport in today's match, but today seems to be much better. Bright sunshine has broken through to dispel fears of a washout.
