North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is on his way to meeting Vladimir Putin in the eastern Russian city of Vladivostok, reports BBC. Russian state media are now also reporting Kim's arrival in Russia - an event first noted by the South Koreans.
Citing one of its correspondents in eastern Russia, the RIA state news agency also posted a video of a train with dark green and grey cars, which it said was carrying the North Korean leader.
The US believes Russia wants North Korea to sell it weapons for the war in Ukraine. Kim has travelled overnight on his bulletproof train.
The Kremlin has confirmed a meeting between the two leaders "in coming days". Analysts believe this meeting stems from Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu's visit to Pyongyang in July where Kim showed off the North's weapons.
