Mitu murder: PBI chargesheet makes Babul Akhtar main accused

The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has submitted a charge sheet against seven people in the case of the murder of his wife Mahmuda Khanam Mitu, making Babul Akhtar the main accused.

The investigating officer of the case PBI Inspector (Metro) Abu Zafar Mohammad Omar Faruque submitted the charge sheet to the prosecution wing of the court at 3 pm on Tuesday.

Chittagong Metropolitan Police Additional Deputy Commissioner Kamrul Islam said, PBI has submitted the charge sheet in the Mitu murder case to the court. The chargesheet will be attached to the documents and produced in the court soon.

On June 5, 2016, Mahmuda Khanam Mitu was killed in GEC Mour area of the city while dropping his son in the school bus.
