Flights resume at Ctg, Cox’s Bazar, Barishal airports

At 12 p.m. on Tuesday, flight operations began again at the Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram, the Cox's Bazar Airport, and the Barishal Airport.

This information was informed in the press release sent on Tuesday afternoon by Mohammad Sohel Kamruzzaman, Public Relations Officer of Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority.

Due to the bad weather brought on by cyclone Sitrang, Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, and Barishal airports were shut down for 21 hours, from 3 p.m. on Monday to 12 p.m. on Tuesday.

As a result, 60 domestic flights operated by Biman Bangladesh Carriers, US Bangla, and NOVOAIR were cancelled, according to the aforementioned airlines.
