Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury laid to rest

Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury, Gonoshasthaya Kendra's founder and heroic freedom fighter, was laid to rest after Jumma Prayers in Savar in Dhaka.

He was buried on the left side of the main gate of the Gonoshasthaya Kendra located on the outskirts of Dhaka.

Earlier, people from all walks of life paid their respects to him in the morning from 10 am to 12:30 pm at Gonoshasthaya Kendra.

At the end of the tributes, his fifth namaz-e-janaza was held at 2:30 pm. Many of his admirers participated in it.

The legendary man of the country's medical world breathed his last at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in Dhaka’s Dhanmondi on April 11.
