4 arrested in connection with police killed in Farmgate

Dhaka Metropolitan Detective (DB) Police have arrested four people in connection with the murder of Moniruzzaman Talukder, a police member, in Dhaka's Farmgate area.

DB's Tejgaon unit conducted several drives in the capital on Saturday to arrest the four individuals, the unit's deputy commissioner MD Golam Sabur told the Daily Samakal.

One of the arrestees has confessed to killing Moniruzzaman, he said.

Moniruzzaman was stabbed to death early on Saturday. His body was found near the Shezan Point shopping mall in Farmgate. He was coming back to Dhaka from spending his Eid vacation in Kurigram and was then attacked in Farmgate.
