Benapole Express train catches fire

Benapole Express train caught fire in Gopibagh area of the capital around 9 pm on Friday.

Two fire service units are working to bring the blaze under control, said Dhaka District Police Superintendent of Railway Police Anwar Hossain.

He said initially it was known that the fire started from the power car of the train. However, it is not confirm yet whether the arsonists set fire to the train.

There were no immediate reports of casualties.
