Police arrests Obaidul Quader’s PA

Awami League general secretary and former minister Obaidul Quader's personal assistant (PA) Abdul Matin, 50, was arrested from Keraniganj on Monday.

The law enforcement agencies arrested Abdul Matin from his Father-in-Law’s house at Char Washpur Village of Shakta Union of Keraniganj upazila thois morning, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Keraniganj Model Police Station Sohrab Al-Hasan told BSS.

PS Matin, also the Secretary of Forest and Environment Affairs of Dhaka North City Unit of Awami League, went into hiding after fall of Awami League government on August 5.

OC declined to give any details right now for the sake of investigation.
