Lawyer killed in clash between law enforcers and Chinmoy’s followers in Chattogram

A lawyer was killed and several others were injured in the attack and clash between members of law enforcement agencies and supporters of former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Saiful Islam Alif, 35, assistant public prosecutor of Chattogram Court.

ASI of Chittagong Medical College and Hospital police outpost Alauddin confirmed the death of the lawyer to The Daily Samakal.
