Hasnat calls for no blockade on any highway except Shahbagh

Hasnat Abdullah, the chief organizer of the southern region of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has called for no blockade on any highway in the country except the Shahbagh intersection in the capital, or even on any other road in the capital, demanding a ban on the Awami League.

He made this call in a post on his verified Facebook ID early Saturday morning. At this time, he asked everyone across the country to hold mass gatherings and rallies.

He said, "Do not block highways in Dhaka or across the country except Shahbagh in Dhaka. Gather spontaneously and hold rallies in the districts. But no blockades. Lift the blockades."
