Khaleda wasn't shown arrested in any case: Home minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has not been shown arrested in any other case.  

The home minister told this to the reporters at his Secretariat office in Dhaka on Tuesday noon.   

Khaleda Zia landed in jail following the verdict in Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case, he said adding that the statement of BNP in this regard is 'propaganda and completely false'.   

The minister also said that there is no basis of the BNP's statement. 

Meanwhile, several news outlets yesterday ran news claiming that Khaleda have been shown arrested in several cases.
