Ayub Bachchu to be laid to rest beside his mother

Ayub Bachchu, prominent singer, composer and founder of rock band LRB, will be laid to rest beside the grave of his mother in Chattagram on Saturday.       

The body of Ayub Bachchu will be taken to the Shaheed Minar from the mortuary of Square Hospitals on Friday for people of all walks of life to pay their final respects for the legendary singer. His body will be there from 10:30am until noon.  

The body of the prominent singer then will be taken to the National Eidgah where his first namaz-e-janaza will be held after Juma prayers. Later, the body will be kept at the mortuary of the hospital again.   

The family members of the rock singer will take the body to his ancestral residence in Chattagram on Friday night. Later, Ayub Bachchu will be buried beside the grave of his mother on Saturday after another namaz-e-janaza there.        

Quoting the family members of Ayub Bachchu, cultural personality and film director Nasir Uddin Yousuf Bacchu disclosed the information. 

The legendary singer, guitarist, songwriter and composer passed away on Thursday morning. He was 56.

He was found unconscious at his Moghbazar residence in the morning. Later, he was taken to Dhaka's Square Hospitals around 9:15am where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
