2 held for 'spreading rumours' on YouTube

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested two persons on charges of 'spreading anti-state rumours' on YouTube channel.   

The two, including an admin of online channel SKTV, were arrested from capital's Uttara area on Friday night.  

The arrestees were identified as Khalid Bin Ahmed, 30, and Hefazullah, 22. 

Mufti Mahmud Khan, RAB's Legal and Media Wing director, confirmed the news. 

Details in this regard will be disclosed at a press briefing at RAB media centre this afternoon, he added.
