Dr Kamal’s motorcade comes under attack

The motorcade of Jatiya Oikyafront's top leader Dr Kamal Hossain was allegedly come under attack at the Martyred Intellectuals Mausoleum in capital's Mirpur area on Friday morning.

The incident took place when Dr Kamal and some other leaders of the Oikyafront were coming out of the Mausoleum after paying tributes to the martyred intellectuals around 9:45am. 

Several leaders and activists from the Oikyafront and the driver of ASM Abdur Rab’s car have been injured in the attacks.

Meanwhile, it was not ensured that who carried out the attack.   

At least seven cars, including those of Oikyafront allies ASM Abdur Rab, Mahmudur Rahman Manna and Jaglul Haider Afrik, were vandalised in the attacks.

Jaglul Haider Afrik, a presidium member of Gono Forum, said "Those who verbalize about the independence today prove who are they?
