CNG stations to remain open for 24hrs during Eid: Quader

The CNG stations will be kept open for 24 hours 10 days before and after the Eid-ul-Azha, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said.

The minister said this while talking to reporters on recent issues at the Secretariat in the capital on Monday.

The CNG stations will be kept open for 24 hours seven days before and three days after the Eid for the smooth travel of the holidaymakers, said the minister.  

Movements of heavy vehicles on the highways and roads will also be stopped three days before and three days after the Eid, he said. 

Eid-ul-Azha is expected to be celebrated on August 12 based on the moon sighting.
