Regent Hospital’s Uttara, Mirpur branch offices sealed off

A mobile court of the Rapid Action Battalion has sealed off the Regent Hospital’s Uttara and Mirpur branch offices providing fake COVID-19 reports to the patients without testing their samples and amassing huge money illegally during the Corona pandemic.

RAB-1 executive magistrate Sarwar Alam conducted the operation with the help of an elite team of the force.

He said that they sealed off the offices of the hospital as RAB seized unauthorized Corona testing kits and a vehicle from the hospital owned by Mohammad Sahed by raiding the offices. 

Meanwhile, eight persons of the hospital were held in this regard. 

RAB is preparing to file a case against 17 people, including chairman of the hospital Mohammad Shahed and managing director Masud.
