Ukhia’s Rohingya refugee camp clashes leave 4 dead

Four people have been killed in a massive clash between two groups of terrorists over the domination of the Kutupalong Rohingya camp in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar.

The clashes continued till the writing of this report at 10 pm on Tuesday.

Locals say the registered Rohingya camp in Kutupalanga has long been in dispute with the terrorist ringmaster Munna group over the dominance of the unregistered camp Anas-Selim group.

In the last three days, seven Rohingyas have been killed in clashes.

It is not yet known how many people were injured in the incident. Army, RAB, police and APBn members are working to control the situation.

Among the dead is Munnar's brother Gias Uddin alias Gechhari. The names of the others were not known.

Cox's Bazar Additional Superintendent of Police Rafiqul Islam said that so far the decapitated body of one person and the bullet-riddled bodies of three others have been recovered. An Ansar member was injured in the incident. Efforts are being made to bring the situation under control. Law enforcers have launched an operation in the Rohingya camp.
