Protests at SUST demanding VC’s resignation

Students at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) are protesting demanding the resignation of the vice-chancellor.

They are also staging protest against the decision to close the campus and attacks on protesting students.

The agitating students also demanded the unconditional resignation of the proctorial body and the director of student advice and guidance.

Students made these demands by holding demonstrations and rallies on campus from 8.30 am on Monday.

On the other hand, an inquiry committee has been formed into the overall affairs of the university.
