Biman to start Syedpur-Cox’s Bazar direct flight for first time

Biman Bangladesh Airlines is set to start operation of direct flight between northwestern Syedpur and beach city Cox’s Bazar for the first time in the country’s aviation history.

The national flag carrier will announce the flight schedule of the route soon, a Biman press release said here on Wednesday, reports BSS.   

The new route is expected to help flourishing the hospitality and leisure industry through establishing direct air connectivity in between the north western and the country’s tourism hub, said the release.  

Earlier, Biman introduced Sylhet-Cox’s Bazar-Sylhet direct flight that is marked as the first ever domestic flight keeping aside the country’s main aviation hub, the capital Dhaka.
