Youth held over Ctg BCL leader murder

A youth has been arrested in connection with the murder of Chittagong city unit leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Sudipto Biswas.

Police nabbed the youth, Mustak, hailed from Titas upazila of Comilla, from a bus counter in Boropul area early Saturday. 

Confirming the arrest, Sadarghat Police Station sub-inspector Ruhul Amin said that Mustak got on a bus for fleeing to Bhola district.

Earlier on October 6, Sudipto Biswas, 25, son of Babul Biswas of Nalapara area of Shadarghat, was beaten to death. 

Sudipto was assistant secretary of Chittagong city BCL unit.
