Woman, children found dead in Jashore

The dead bodies of a woman and her son and daughter were found at Digha village in Jashore's Sharsha upazila on Sunday night.

The deceased were identified as Hamida, 30, wife of Ibrahim, her daughter Sharifa, 12 and son Shahin, 3.

Quoting family members, Moshiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sharsha Police Station said Hamida poisoned her daughter and son following an altercation with her in-laws and then she killed herself by swallowing poison around 9:30pm.

On information, police recovered the bodies, he added.

Meanwhile, police arrested three people including the victim's father and mother-in-law for interrogation.
